Jakiao.com is my own little personal getaway from the realities of the world. It is a place where I sometimes rant about my troubles and other times plot my strategy for my War on Bugs.
Along with my random blogging, I have blog series which contain blogs of various specific topics. To the left is a list of each series. Clicking on them will show you a list of chapters.
So I just noticed something: This layout looks beautiful in IE6, but in IE7 it's hideously broken. As for your Firefox users, well I just don't care about that memory-hogging browser.

Recap of a Year

Well, hello there! An actual blog post on my site that is more than an announcement ... how wonderful? Why have I not been posting updates, you ask? Well, the answer is simple: I've been leading a busy life both personally and professionally, and it has been absolutely wonderful.
Many people take "busy" to mean that you have no free time; that it is all work. To me, "Busy" means that I am keeping active. On a personal level, it has been a crazy, crazy year. On a professional level, it has been just as insane (in a good way). This blog entry is going to be long, so please forgive me. Also, I'll likely add random quotes in as I'm in a pretty good mood and am absorbed in music at the moment.

Jakki's Playlist

I have just added a new section to Jakiao.com! The Playlist page is the music playlist I have been coming up with for the past two months. It contains nothing but my most favorite music and is definitely not a complete list. For all songs possible, I have included a link to the Youtube video. I omitted videos for songs that only had AMV's or other stupid fan-created crap available on Youtube.

Vivian Godding (1919-2008)

Dean's mother, Vivian (age 89), passed away on October 1st [obit]. I would go to her wake, but I really doubt that I would be welcome there. *sigh* I don't know why this is bothering me ...
