Dear Moonlight

Part of the "Notes of the Past" series.

Dear Moonlight,

I know that I have promised you for the past two years a section in the first series, but I don't think that would fit into it considering its format. So I hope getting the first note to the past will make up for the long wait.

You and I have had an interesting relationship. I can't honestly say that I remember how we first began speaking, tho the place is obvious. When we first began speaking over the phone, you called me one morning while I was stuck in the balcony of a church, "Hello, Sunshine," and the name stuck.

Following that day, can you even count the number of times we spoke, the hours we spent over the phone? God knows I can't ... it was so many for so long. Proof given in the 6,000 minutes that one month. Given so much time to speak, one could imagine that we spoke about everything. Absolutely everything.

The things we know about each other is truly scary. Enough information on each other to completely ruin the other. I suppose that's why we could never, ever be at odds with one another. But, that is a good thing as you have always been fun to talk to ... all though, the side conversations with your family were always confusing as I had no idea if you were talking to me or someone else.

I hope those wakeup calls I gave you for 9 weeks helped as I know you used that in place of an alarm clock.

After we both got out of high school we became two very busy people, and since then we have become distant with one another for obvious reasons. But, nevertheless, I still love ya ^_^

Maybe someday we'll pick up where we left off? But who knows?

I've known you for several years now, and you are definitely a person from my past. I have always appreciated the friendship and will always love speaking with you whenever you want to chat.

Have a good day, Moonlight.
