On an October 2005 night, I was driving through my home town of Janesville after having a troubling day. I began thinking of everything that led up to that moment. I thought about how events unfolded to get me to where I am today. What I realized was that I didn’t really understand how my life got to where it was that day. I realized that I lived strictly in the present and the future, and I completely ignored the past.

The past is the absolute most critical series of events in a person’s life. It contains the why and how to the present and often will dictate the outcome of the future. So many people these days forget to reflect on their past.

This series is my personal reminiscing of my past so that I may better understand not only my life but also how everything isn’t as bad as you may make it out to be. This is my personal quest towards that goal of perfect happiness.

 

You know, I used to love bugs. They interested me, and they were fun to do things to (yeah, I was one of those kinds of kids). Later in life, I grew a hatred for them due to being attacked by mosquitoes in the summer and moths in the spring.

My hatred for them met full insanity early last year when I started actively attempting to kill any and every bug I came across. Since then, my “War on Bugs” (spoof to War on Terror) has taken on many different stories and continuing hilarity. The stories from this include the R.A.I.D. Conquests 1 – 9 and my defending myself from bedroom assault led by the bugs of the outside world.

So join me on this hilarious quest of pure insanity and meaninglessness!

 

There are things that everyone wishes they could say to people but never know how to say be it a simple thank you, a letter of hatred, or a confession of love.

I have lots of things I want to say to many people, but not all at once. So as the time comes, more notes will be added to this series.
